If there&amp;rsquo;s one thing we noticed, it&amp;rsquo;s that standard mercury lamps struggle when things get thick. You try to cure a heavy ink layer or a specialty coating, and you&amp;rsquo;re stuck in a lose-lose situation: either the bottom stays tacky, or you crank the heat so high you warp the material.&#xA;That&amp;rsquo;s why we use Gallium Iodide (GaI) lamps.&#xA;Here&amp;rsquo;s the deal: GaI lamps shift the light toward the longer UV-A and visible range. Instead of just hitting the surface, the energy actually sinks in.&#xA;If you&amp;rsquo;re running thick screen-print layers, you know the frustration of a &amp;ldquo;skin&amp;rdquo; forming on top while the ink underneath is still wet. It&amp;rsquo;s a nightmare. GaI lamps fix that by pushing the energy deeper into the film, hitting those photoinitiators in high-pigment inks exactly where they need it.&#xA;But there&amp;rsquo;s a catch.&#xA;To get that kind of power, we use high-purity quartz envelopes to handle the intense internal pressure. We push the wattage high to give you the output you need, but that creates a ton of heat. A lot of it.&#xA;If your cooling fans or chilled water loops aren&amp;rsquo;t up to the task, you&amp;rsquo;re going to have problems. Your PET or paper substrates will warp before they cure. It&amp;rsquo;s a trade-off you have to manage.&#xA;The good news? We kept the footprint standard. You can just drop these into your existing UV arrays. No need to tear out your wiring or rebuild your press. We also spent a lot of time on electrode stability so these things don&amp;rsquo;t burn out prematurely. As long as your power supply keeps a clean arc, they&amp;rsquo;ll stay steady.&#xA;One last tip: check your reflector angles.&#xA;Since the GaI spectrum is different from mercury, the light bounces differently. It sounds like a small detail, but a tiny tweak to the mirror focal point can be the difference between a perfect finish and a smudge on the conveyor.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
