The trick to power and tuning
Here’s the thing: most off-the-shelf lamps fail because they ignore the specific photoinitiators in your resin. They’re too generic. We do things differently. We tweak the wattage and voltage so the energy hits exactly where your chemistry needs it. Now, if you need high-wattage tubes to keep your line moving fast, you’ve got to be careful. More power means more heat. If your cooling system or air-knives can’t keep up, you’ll end up warping your substrates. It’s a trade-off you have to manage.
Better glass, better electrodes
We use high-purity fused quartz. Why? Because standard glass can actually soak up the UV light before it even hits your product. By using the good stuff, we make sure the UVC and UVB wavelengths actually get out of the lamp. We also put a lot of focus on the electrodes. Nobody likes a lamp that burns out prematurely at the end-caps. Whether you’re working with a tiny footprint or a weirdly shaped reflector housing, just send us your CAD drawings.
