When you look at a modular UV curing system, it’s easy to see just a bunch of bulbs and boxes. But under the hood, you’ve got high-voltage electricity, intense radiation, and a lot of heat. That’s why we don’t treat CE certification as some boring paperwork exercise. For us, it’s the baseline. It’s what makes sure our gear actually works in your factory without blowing a fuse or failing a safety audit the moment an inspector walks through the door. Keeping the power in check High-intensity UV lamps need electronic ballasts to keep the arc stable. If you cut corners here—ignoring things like the Low Voltage Directive—you’re asking for insulation failure or a nasty short circuit. We build our modules to handle the heat and make sure the chassis is grounded properly. It’s about peace of mind. Then there’s the “electrical noise” problem. UV ballasts can be loud—not in sound, but in electromagnetic interference. If your system isn’t compliant, it can play havoc with your PLCs or the sensors on your conveyor.
